Realm characters expire after 90 days of inactivity to reset the inactivity timer, you will need to perform basic activity, such as buying or selling an item or killing a monster. They are not playable in singleplayer, LAN, Open, or direct-IP connection online play. save filesī Realm characters are stored in the cloud and are tied to the account however, they are only accessible on the realm (regional server) on which they were created (US-East, US-West, etc.). The path %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\Diablo II is applicable as of the v1.14 patch. 10.8 Cannot detect a valid TCP/IP address.10.6 Mouse lag/low frame rate in singleplayer.10.5 Unhandled Exception: Access Violation (c000005) Error.10.3.1 Additional useful Sven's Glide Wrapper settings.10.3 Better performance with Glide wrapper.10.2 Colorization problems Windows Vista and newer.10.1 Graphical glitches and/or slowdowns in full screen mode.3.3.1 High resolution patch compatibility. My guess is that this won't happen at all or just far after the release. In a dream world the d2r dev team would go into detail about mod support long before release so that we can be sure there will be plugy support from the launch and there needs to be a safe way to know that the old plugy saves will either be compatible with plugy d2r or there is a safe way to convert them. You can make it look a little nicer with glide wrapper and maybe graphic filters (sharpening etc.) applied through your graphic drivers. The common stuff is not that hard to find. On top of that the pd2 save files may differ from saves from the base game and for that reason are most likely not going to be compatible with d2r.Īs it stands now, with the information we have today, if you want to start a grail right now and want to be sure to keep your stuff in d2r the only safe way to do it is most likely to use the standart d2 lod b.net version and muling the rarest stuff you find and not use plugy or pd2 at all. That would probably make plugy save files even more complicated I guess. In d2r the stash might also work completely differently under the hood then it used to in d2, because they implemented the shared stash (nice btw!). Because d2r is basically d2 with a shiny graphic layer on top of it and if you import a plugy stash into a d2 base game your items in your stash are just gone or your whole save breaks. (I hope it will though) I'm pretty sure that your stash will get fucked up if you try to import your plugy stash into a base d2r game. If i'm understanding you right you want to play single player with plugy and upscaling, shaders etc from pd2 right now and later import your save to d2r?Īs far as I know, there is no confirmation yet that plugy will work or will be updated for d2r.
